Current Government Policy requires us to take a firm line on late arrivals. Students who are late without reasonable explanation can expect to be punished.

School starts at 8.30am. Too many students think it is ok to arrive at school between 8.30am and 8.40am. This is unacceptable.

We must point out that it is your responsibility as a parent to ensure your child arrives on time to school, fully equipped and in school uniform. Regular lateness disrupts lessons for other students as well as your child missing out on vital work which then has to be caught up. The law deals with lateness and non attendance in exactly the same way. Please support school as fully as possible and ensure a punctual arrival every day.
